Larry Gross Receives Intermodal鈥檚 Highest Honor
"The Intermodalist" to be Presented with the 2024 Silver Kingpin Award
CALVERTON, MD (June 3, 2024)聽鈥� The 性视界传媒 is pleased to announce that Larry Gross, President and Founder of Gross Transportation Consulting, will be honored with the 2024 Silver Kingpin Award during this year鈥檚 Intermodal EXPO, Sept. 9-11, in Long Beach, California.
Gross is a veteran of the freight transportation sector with more than forty years鈥� experience. He is president of Gross Transportation Consulting, writes the monthly 鈥淟and Lines鈥� column in the Journal of Commerce, and authors 鈥淚ntermodal in Depth,鈥� an analytical report covering the intermodal sector. His years as an industry consultant and observer were preceded by executive positions in intermodal equipment development and sales, including 27 years at Wabash National where he headed up all aspects of the RoadRailer intermodal product line.

The Silver Kingpin, started by the National Piggyback Association in 1977, recognizes an individual鈥檚 long-term contributions to intermodalism.
